About Mollie Crowe

Mollie Crowe, owner and sole photographer of midwest-based company, Little Blackbird Photo, considers herself a “natural born collector, music lover, and storyteller with the most vibrant imagination.” With more than a decade of experience photographing everything from local faces and events to concert stages and movie sets, Crowe has built a reputation for capturing emotive portraits and bold live stills. She recently made her gallery debut, a photography exhibition entitled “PLAYING TO AN EMPTY ROOM: A Visual Herstory of Live Music in a Lockdown,” which documents the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on independent venue Westside Bowl and the Youngstown local music scene.
